【QuantumScape】Discussion on LFP + Lithium -Metal Anode - Pete_UZ - 09-09-2021 [attachment=41] Battery experts Venkat Viswanathan, Sam Jaffee and Tim Holme, discuss the potential of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathodes coupled with a lithium-metal anode Just go through the online discussion, it goes to the direction that utilizing most merits of LFP while increasing the energy density from the metal anode. To my point of view, innovated combination of current battery tech is a practical way-out. Since processing and fundamental breakthrough is not that easy for battery as compared to that in the semi-conduct industry. While I always have the feeling that battery will sooner or later becomes the next semi-conduct type product that following a so-called dummy Moore's law and energy density is obviously not the only index to be evaluated.
