Does UZ Products support inverters w/o communication in practical application? - Pete_UZ - 04-12-2021

Recently, our customers are asking if UZ can provide solutions that support non-communication inverter equipments to replace previous Lead-acid battery.
By right, our products can work with inverters with no communication (i.e. no CAN bus or RS485). While it is not recommended to do so as Li-ion battery is comparably a sensitive energy storage system. Real time communication with inverter can to the largest extent to secure the safety of the battery system.
At non-communication scenario, UZ products will follow a set-value mode (i.e. voltage control method) to ensure the general functions.

For details, please contact our engineer for more info. So far, inverter like Victron, Studer and Voltronic Power can be running at such mode.
