EcoNode
Introduction
The EcoNode series gateways are high-performance embedded computing platforms designed to run OpenEMS. They support large-scale deployments of IoT and energy management system devices.

Key Features
High-Performance Platform: Equipped with a powerful 64-bit processor, EcoNode gateways ensure reliable operation and high efficiency for demanding applications.

Extensive Connectivity: These gateways offer a range of interfaces, including RS485, RS232, AI, DI, and DO. They support over 250 common PLC and power acquisition protocols, enabling seamless integration with various systems.

Advanced Capabilities: EcoNode gateways excel in protocol conversion, data collection, and configuration control. They feature self-configuration and self-operation, support for breakpoint continuation, and remote management. They also provide transparent serial and network port transmission and can operate across a broad temperature range.

Communication Options: Supporting 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and in some models, LoRa, EcoNode devices offer flexible communication solutions. They also include various peripheral interfaces such as USB, CAN, and Bluetooth.

Operating System and Development: The default operating system is Ubuntu 16.04 or later, which facilitates application installation and development. The gateways support multiple programming languages, including C/C++, Node.js, Java, and Python, and offer open development interfaces and SDKs for custom software development.

EcoNode-605 Series

The EcoNode-605 series is a high-performance model designed for energy storage applications:

Processor and Memory: Features a quad-core 64-bit processor with up to 2.0GHz clock speed, optional LPDDR4 RAM (2GB, 4GB, or 8GB), and eMMC storage (16GB, with optional upgrades to 32GB or 256GB).

Connectivity and Ports: Includes 4 LAN/WAN RJ45 ports, 6 isolated RS485 ports (with 3KV isolation), 8 relay outputs, 8 digital inputs, 2 isolated CAN ports, an SSD storage interface, and multiple USB ports.

Communication Modules: Supports 3G/4G/5G and Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11b/g/n/a/ac 2T2R).

Affordability: Priced at 200 euros, it offers a cost-effective solution for comprehensive IoT deployments.

Conclusion

The EcoNode series, particularly the EcoNode-605, provides a robust and versatile solution for large-scale IoT and energy storage systems. Its high-performance hardware, extensive connectivity options, and affordable pricing make it an excellent choice for efficient and scalable IoT management.

OpenEMS - The Open Source Energy Management System

OpenEMS is a modular platform for energy management applications. It was developed to meet the requirements of monitoring, controlling, and integrating energy storage with renewable energy sources and complementary devices and services, such as electric vehicle charging stations, heat pumps, electrolysers, time-of-use electricity tariffs, and more.
